The book of Genesis is foundational in the Christian faith. Genesis mean beginning. Genesis is not only the beginning of the bible, but it describes the beginning of creation, the beginning of mankind and the beginning of God redemptive plan. Genesis tells us that God made man in his own image. What does that mean? What difference does that make in how we view ourselves, how we interact with God, how we have relationships with others and how we care for our world.
